MASSAGE THERAPY APPOINTMENTS

Walk-ins are welcome, however, advanced bookings are recommended to secure your preferred date and time for a partial or full body massage. You can make your reservation online or call us to schedule an appointment.  After you book online, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail and/or by telephone. A credit card is required to secure all appointments.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE FOR A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT

Please check-in at the spa reception at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to complete the intake form, have a brief conversation with your massage therapist regarding your medical history and discuss what you hope to accomplish with your customized treatment.

We also recommend coming in early to give yourself ample time to have a deeply relaxing experience and allow you to free your mind.

ARRIVING LATE

If you are late to your session you are welcome to the remaining time of your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, due to our tightly booked schedule, we are generally unable to extend a session beyond the originally appointed time. Regardless of the length of the service given, you will be responsible for the payment of the full service you scheduled.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment for a full refund -processing fee by giving us notice no less than 24 hours preceding your appointment.

Cancellations and appointment changes made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price. No shows for a scheduled appointment will be charged full price for the intended service.

SPA ETIQUETTE IN COMMON AREAS AND MASSAGE ROOMS

To preserve a harmonious environment that promotes deep relaxation and stress relief, within the spa all mobile phones and electronic devices should be set on silent.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION & MEDICAL CONCERNS

Your safety and well being is important to us, and your treatment may require special considerations. Guests who are pregnant or those with high blood pressure, heart conditions, or any other medical conditions are required to inform our massage therapists or spa receptionist.

Some forms of massage such as deep tissue massage and traditional Thai massage can be more physical, which guests should keep in mind. Thai massage involves a unique blend of assisted stretching, yoga like positions, and rocking techniques that help the body relax, restore balance, and release tension.

In order to maintain a healthy environment, we ask guests who are feeling ill with symptoms of colds, fevers, flu, etc. to reschedule their appointment for a later date.

Receiving a massage during the onset of illness or toward the end of its progression is not advised. During the early phases, a massage that promotes blood circulation can accelerate the infection and intensify its severity. Additionally, if you get a massage after the infection has peaked you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. This is the case with most forms of massage including gentle Swedish massage.

VALUABLES

We strongly recommend that our guests not wear jewelry to the spa. The management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables brought to the facilities.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

Araya Thai Massage & Spa provides the highest quality therapeutic massage techniques from truly skilled therapists. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to inappropriate behavior. If any behavior is considered inappropriate, including touching, sexual innuendo and/or rude requests, the session will be terminated immediately and full payment is expected.

During couples massage sessions the couples are expected to maintain decorum and a peaceful environment before, during and after the massage therapy.

Gift cards are available for purchase for any value amount and can be redeemed for massage services only. They have no cash value. Araya Thai Massage & Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards. We are also not responsible for unauthorized card use.
